Share my recipe- easy peanut butter cookies

Easy Peanut Butter Cookies

Directions:

1 egg

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup chopping planters cocktail peanuts

1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. beat egg in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until foamy. add remaining ingredients; beat until well blended.

2. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart, on ungreased baking sheets. Flatten each ball, in criss cross patternm with fork

3. Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cook 1 min remove from baking sheets to wire racks; cook completely.

Simply Delisious sunday- little tacos

Slow Cooker Little Tacos

Ingredients:

1 pkg (16oz) little smokies

1 cup cheeze whiz cheese dip

1/2 cup taco sauce

Directions:

1. heat little smokies as directed on package

2. mix cheeze whiz and taco sauce in small saucepan. Cook on medium low heat 10 minutes or until heated through, stirring frequently.

3. serve little smokies with sauce in slow cooker or fondue pot set on low heat

Slow Cooker Thursday- winter fruit compote

Slow Cooker Winter Fruit Compote

Ingredients:

1 (2-inch) cinnamon stick

2 small apples, peeled, sliced

1/3 cup sweetened dried cranberries

1/2 cup golden raisins

1/2 cup halved dried apricots

1 (8oz) can pinapple tidbits in unsweetened juice, undrained

1/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup orange juice

1 (21oz) can peach pie filling

Directions:

1. Place cinnamon sticking in 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 quart slow cooker. Layer with apples, cranberries, raisins, apricots and pineapple with liquid. Sprinkle with sugar. Pour orange juice over top.

2. Cover; cook on low setting for 5 to 6 hours.

3. Just before servings, gently stir mixture. Remove and discard cinnamon sticks. Gently stir in pie filling, cutting peach slices into pieces as necessary. Serve in small dessert dish or if desired, serve warm over pound cake or ice cream.

Crock Pot Wednesday- Buffalo Chicken Chili

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Chili

Ingredients:

2 1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces

1 large onion, chopped (about 1 cup)

2 medium stalks celery, sliced (about 1 cup)

2 medium carrots, chopped (about 1 cup)

1 can (28 oz) Progresso diced tomatoes, undrained

1 can (15 oz) Progresso black beans, drained, rinsed

1 cup progresso chicken broth (from 32 oz carton)

2 teaspoons chili powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup buffalo wing sauce (from 12 oz jar)

crumbled blue cheese, if desired

Directions:

1. Spray 5- to 6 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In cooker, mix all ingredients except buffalo wing sauce and cheese.

2. Cover; cook on low heat setting 8 to 10 hours

3. Stir in buffalo wing sauce. Serve sprinkled with blue cheese.

This is a great change from regular chili since its the middle of winter and you have had chili most of the winter.

Kitchen tip tuesday- keeping cheese fresh and cleaning a meat grinder

Here are a couple tips from me. Tip one To keep cheese from getting hard, cut off enough for immediate use and spread the remaining portion with a thin film of butter or margarine. Put it in a cool place. This keeps out the air and prevents the cheese from drying out. Tip two Bread crusts are ideal for cleaning the meat grinder; then add to the meat dish for flavor and food.

This is a picture of me with my brothers and sisters. Back then when i was growing up i didnt have a care in the world. Other then when a cartoon was coming on. Know a days with the world as it is its hard being an adult and i wish that i could go back to these days. When the world wasnt a big deal. Only if i had a time machine i would go back but take my princess with me :)

cupcake tuesday- Sta-Berry cupcakes

Star Berry Cupcakes

Ingredients:

1 box (1lb 2.25oz) devil food cake mix with pudding

1 1/3 cups water

1/2 cup oil

3 eggs

1/2 cup marshmallow creme (from 7oz jar)

1 cup whipping (heavy) cream

3 cups quartered fresh strawberries

1 cup fresh blueberries

Directions:

1. Make cupcakes as directed on box using water, oil and eggs. Cool Completely, about 30 minutes.

2. Place marshmallow cream in small microwave bowl. Microwave on high 10 to 20 seconds or until slightly softened.

3. In medium bowl, beat whipping cream until soft peaks form. Add marshmallow creme; continue beating until stiff peaks form.

4. Frost cupcakes with whipping cream mixture. Arrange strawberries, cut side down, on each cupcake to form 5-pointed star. Place 3 blueberries in center of each star.

Tasty Tuesday- quick sausage supper

Quick Sausage Supper

Ingredients:

3/4lb bulk pork sausage

1/2 cup chopped onion (1 medium)

2 tablespoons all-purpuse flour

1 can (14.5oz) diced tomatoes, undrained

1 can (4oz) mushroom pieces and stems, undrained

1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves

1/2 teaspoon died basil leaves

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1 can (12oz) pillsbury grands jr golden layers refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

1 cup shredded mozzarella chees (4oz)

Directions:

1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. IN 10-inch overnproof skillet with 2-inch deep sides, cook sausage and onion over medium heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sausage is no longer pink.

2. Sprinkle flour over sausage mixture in skillet. Add tomatoes, mushrooms, oregano, basil, garlic powder, and pepper; mix well. Cook until slightly thickened, stirring occassionally. reduce heat; simmer uncovered while preparing biscuits

3. Separate dough into 10 biscuits; cut each into quarters. Arrange biscuit pieces over hot sausage mixture. Sprinkle with cheese.

4. Bake uncovered 16 to 20 minutes or until buscuits are golden brown.

Ruby Tuesday- sink baby

The was a picture that i took when katelynn wasnt that old. But she was tiny enough to get into a bathroom sink. She loves standing on the bathroom sink (with one of us standing by her) know at her age. I but i know why :)

To-Do tuesday

This is going to be a very crazy week in the princesses family. Monday i have to finish my shopping that i couldnt get done because i left the shopping list at home. Then have to finish the laundry and take my brother that just moved back into the dorn his rest of the clothes because i got very behind on them when princess was ill. Then after that i have to take my brother to the hospital to check out a suspious spot on his back (praying its nothing bad). The on tuesday I have to go to my friends house and go through clothing that i was supposted to do this last week but because princess got sick i pushed back the rest of the week. Then that even i have to go to my husbands work and get my finger pricked for our health insurance because if we dont it will go up twenty more dollars i hate health insurance (well just the exam they have to weigh me :(!). Wednesday its my relaxing day i have nothing to do other then house work. Oh and its laundry day agian. Thursday i have to make my shopping list for friday bill day. Friday very stressful day... paying bills, shopping, and then a uppercase living party at a friends house.

Ingredients:

1 (6oz) container yoplait original 99% fat free strawberry mango yogurt

1 small kiwi fruit, diced

1/2 cup honey nut clusters cereal

Directions:

1. spoon half of the yogurt into 10oz clear glass or clear plastic drinking glass. Top with half of the kiwi fruit and half of the cereal, repeat layers.

Make Do Mondays

My family is just been cut back on alot of money that we where counting on for the new year. So we have had to make some changes and make due with items that we already have. This is becoming a little hard for my husband but im trying to make it work. We have had to stop buying wipes because they just seem to be taking money away from the budget that we can use somewhere else. So we have been using bummas that I have just recived to review (will be up tomorrow with a giveaway) just by placing bummas in a bowl of water and baby oil works just as well at baby wipes. Have had to stop buy paper towel so instead of using paper towels i have a bag of old socks that have a holes in the toes that i am know using to dust with. I just found a couple of months ago about the swiffer product. Well as you might know the wipes for the swiffer are expensive so we have went back to a mop and bucket show. It takes a little long but saves a lot of money. I am alway keeping my eye open to new ideas... to help save money with what i have already.

mouthwatering monday- truth or dare chocolate strawberry cupcakes

Truth or Dare Chocolate strawberry Cupcakes

Ingredients:

8 (3-inch) squares of paper

8 (5x2inch) sheets of foil

ribbon

1 (8oz) container cream cheese with strawberries

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tablespoon milk

1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed

8 unfrosted chocolates cupcakes (purchased or prepared with mix)

4 fresh strawberries, halves

Directions:

1. To make truth or dare scrolls, write truth or dare messages on each square of paper. Roll paper into scroll shape. Wrap each scroll in foil; squeese 1 end to form a point. Tie other end closed with sveral strands of colorful curly ribbon. Set aside.

2. Beat cream cheese in large bowl until softened. Add powdered sugar and milk; beat until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. If desired, add 1 or 2 drops red food color; blend well.

3. Spoon mixture into resealable freezer plastic bags; seal bags. Cut 1/2 inch hole in bottom corner of bag. Squeeze bag to pipe generous spirals of topping onto cupcakes. Press 1 strawberry half onto top of each cupcake. Insert pointed end of truth or dare scroll into top of each cupcake.

This is a great recipe and great cupcakes. But its also a great game for valentines day!!!!

But i know that for some reason he knew what to do. I think that my mother was there to help him out alot. But i know that he loved his little princess. Growing up being the oldest for my brothers and sisters was a big responsability. I had a wonderful father and a mother. My hero when i was going up was my parents. We didnt have much but be had enough. I am glad that my parents rasied me to be a lovely women and preparing me for the future. They worked very hard to get me and my brothers and sister stuff that we though was important. Looking back i wish that i could have changed alot of things and not be so selfish. Things I love Thursday

I love Tylenol because last night when my little princess was sick with a fever it really helped bring down the fever. It also helped with my headache that i got from being up all night with it. I know that is been recalled but its still a good product.
